Growing up in South Africa, I developed a deep connection to the land and its natural beauty from an early age. My family instilled in me a profound respect for nature, a passion I now pass on to my children, raising them to cherish and protect our environment. At the same time, I believe that progress is part of who we are as humans—we are wired to innovate, improve, and seek better solutions. These two values, conservation and progress, form the core of who I am. I’m committed to finding ways to harness technology to enhance conservation efforts, ensuring that innovation never comes at the cost of the natural world, but always serves to protect and sustain it.
